As a member of Pharmazam’s Team of Physicians, Dr. Langaee’s years of experience as a research scientist in the field of pharmacogenetics gives us the edge over our competition. He understands why pharmacogenetics needs to become more commonplace and used more by physicians and patients. Best of all, he knows Pharamazam can fill that need.

Dr. Langaee’s research interests are focused on Pharmacogenomics, Personalized Medicine, and the development and application of Clinical Diagnostic Genetic Biomarkers. Currently, he is the Director of the UF Center for Pharmacogenomics Genotyping Core Laboratory. He is also a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at UF.

Since 2002, he has been a reviewer and on the editorial board for many peer reviewed journals in the areas of pharmacology and microbiology and a postdoctoral advisor and committee member. Prior to joining the faculty at UF, he completed three years of post-doctoral fellowship in Immunology and Molecular Biology, and Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Montreal. While there he worked on developing an HIV vaccine.
